GSSCC 2015 National Championships
Gismo and Russ competed at the 2015 GSSCC IPO Nationals in Charlottetown, PEI. The team had a good start in their first two phases, Tracking (80) and Protection (81), but a sudden injury prohibited Gismo from perfoming all his exercises in the Obedience phase (52). Gismo may have been the oldest dog competing at this event, and for an almost 8 years old dog, he still looked strong out on the field. It is disapointing for both handler and dog that an unfortunate injury kept them from having a chance to competed at the Worlds, as this is Gismo's last competition year.
Congrats to all the competitors and best of luck to the Teams representing Canada at the Worlds in Finland!

Congratulations Russ and Gismo!!!
Russ and Gismo came in third overall in the Quebec Regional Schutzhund competition on May 16th and 17th . During this event, handlers and their dogs compete against other teams in three phases: tracking, obedience, and protection and are judged on their performance. Fifteen top dogs from across Quebec, Ontario and from as far away as France competed, and Russ and Gismo scored 281 out of a possible 300 points which qualifies them to attend the National Championships to be held in PEI in July. Team-mate Maurice Bernard came in second overall.

Our newest German Shepherd girl...Clair von der Altmurg!!!
We are excited to announce that in partership with Von Der Legend Kennels (Quebec) the arrival of Clair von der Altmurg. She has been bred to the 2014 BSP Winner, Bolle Ja Na Ka. Pregnancy to be confirmed by ultrasound early April.
Clair will make a strong addition to our breeding program.

Congratulations for obtaining another USA title in Sport Detection:
NACSW NW1 (February 2015)
Darlene and Karma finished First Place Overall at the NACSW Scent Detection Trial held in Oakville, Washington, USA, where Karma obtained her NW1 title!
