Brisko and Vroni puppies arrived on November 08, 2016, 8 puppies in all (3 males, 5 females).  Mom and babies are healthy and doing well.

Black - 1 female

Dark Sable - 1 male, 3 females

Russ and his dog Brisko had the honour of competing at the 2016 German Shepherd World Championship in the dog sport "Schutzhund" held in Meppen, Germany.  The top 130 dog and handler teams from 40 countries met and competed in early October 2016 over a span of one week, challenged with completing with three disciplines: Tracking, Obedience, and Protection.  Each discipline was judged out of 100 points for a total available top score of 300.

Team Canada sent their top five teams from this years Nationals.  In addition to Russ, there was another participant from Ottawa, one from the Prairies and two from British Columbia.  In the end, Russ and Brisko finished 56th overall with 259 points, and had the highest finish for the Canadian Team.

​

The top dog for the event was from the Czech Republic, who finished with a score of 289 points.

What a successful weekend at the 2016 Canadian German Shepherd Dog Championships & Sieger Show held August 10-14, 2016!!

​

Russ with Brisko and one of our club members (Shanon Rawlinson with Checker) have qualified for the Canadian WUSV Team and will be heading off to Germany to compete in October.  Congrats and best of luck Team Canada!!!

​

Danielle with Vroni also had nice performance; it was their first time competing at National Level with really good Obedience and Protection score but had some unfortunate trouble in Tracking.

The IPO Regional Championships were held May 06-08, 2016, in Mascouche, Quebec, hosted by Cyno-Sport IPO club and judged by Jim Chrisp.  The venue was well run, super hospitality and food, the competition helpers in top shape and the Judge was kind and knowledgeable.  Congrats to all the competitors.
